David Autry, Physician Assistant
Physician Assistant David Autry joined Katy Trail Community Health in October 2006.
As a physician assistant, Autry works with the health center's physicians to provide a wide range of primary health-care services, including diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventative health care; making diagnoses; and prescribing medications. He also is involved in patient and community education and outreach efforts.
Autry also works as a flight paramedic for the University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics, Columbia, and has served as a paramedic and emergency medical technician for multiple hospitals and ambulance districts in west-central Missouri. He previously was senior physician assistant working primarily in the Emergency Department at Bothwell Regional Health Center, Sedalia.
He has a master's degree in physician assisting from Missouri State University, Springfield. He has a bachelor's degree in biology with minors in chemistry and psychology from Central Methodist University in Fayette, MO.
Autry lives in Cole Camp.
